Vin Diesel and John Cena have been long-time friends and co-stars, but the duo found themselves in new territory in The Fate of the Furious when they ended up on opposite sides of the Fast & Furious 8 conflict. As they prepare to face off against each other in the eighth installment of the series, fans are wondering if Diesel and Cena will be able to find common ground on screen — or if their characters will put them at odds with each other off screen as well. To get an answer to that question, we caught up with the stars ahead of their big showdown.
There is a new movie in theaters with all our favorite stars that is just waiting to be watched. Starring on The Fate of the Furious are two Hollywood giants, Vin Diesel and John Cena. Even better, this film can be streamed right now by any HBO Max subscriber. With its release date being extended for an extra week, there is still time to get your popcorn ready for this gripping action thriller. Fans will love it!
The two actors play rival characters Dominic Toretto and Luke Hobbs respectively. They go up against each other in a no holds barred battle that goes above and beyond what you would expect to see from a normal action movie. The high octane stunts are riveting, keeping us on our toes for every minute of it. I won’t give away any spoilers, but I have to say, I was pretty shocked at some points throughout—it definitely keeps you on your toes!
A racing movie, complete with an epic road-trip that spans more than 10,000 miles in order to deliver a nitrous oxide tanker before it’s too late. The film does an excellent job of maintaining a breakneck pace for its entire duration as it mixes high octane car chases with some clever hand-to-hand combat, often combining them together in large scales battles featuring dozens of actors, stunt drivers and CGI artists. Fans will love how The Fate of the Furious incorporates nearly every one of these personalities into the world in all their bombastic glory. It will be hard to think about anything else after seeing this movie.
TWO GREAT CHAMPIONS
The Fate of the Furious is here, starring some all-time greats. The latest Fast & Furious installment pits two titans against each other—veteran star Vin Diesel and former WWE Champion John Cena.
THE GREATEST RIVALRY IN MOTORSPORTS HISTORY
Ever since their first face-off in 2001, Vince McMahon’s prized pupil John Cena has never been able to take a win over his idol, American Hero, Vin Diesel. The only two occasions when they squared off head to head were Wrestlemania 22 in 2006 and Wrestlemania 26 in 2010. And on both those occasions, you could almost sense that both legends were just trying to prove who was better without putting too much pressure on themselves to win. Fast forward 10 years later and the stakes couldn’t be higher! These two global icons of action movies square off yet again at the most anticipated event of this year, The Fate of the Furious: Vince McMahon’s Boxing Match with America Starring Mayweather vs. McGregor.
Who will win? YOU decide. Get your tickets now.
